Geeze, I’d LOVE them to ask me what it means to be a Christian. They’d get the Good News!

They were also asked, What does it mean to be a Muslim? their lawyers said. The questioning reportedly led one client to break down in tearsMaybe being Muslim is what caused him to cry.
Any allegations are now going to be handled as if the criminals are in the right.

why is everyone here so hateful to Somalis? I spent A LOT of time with refugees from the Somalian war back in 1994. They were relocated to North Texas (and other states like Tennessee) by Catholic Charities and World Relief. (quite a few lived in my neighborhood, along with refugees from Sudan, Vietnam, Bosnia and Iraqi soldiers from the first Gulf War).
They were very open to American ways. They considered themselves "Sunni" but the daughters didn't wear their hijabs unless they "dressed up" for something special; and the guys all listened to American music and got jobs. I even took a few of them to meet Gov. and Laura Bush when he came to town. I absolutely loved them like family. We'd discuss religion all the time. They'd probably be considered "bad" muslims. But I met a lot of them, and they were all like that.
