Sounds like an obvious 'back door' way to get the rules changed.

Tragically I believe the don't ask don't tell days are just about finished and soon gays will serve openly.

I also believe that it will last until recruiters and the individual services find they can't fulfill their quotas, then it may have to change back for national security reasons.

The final outcome of gays in the military rests with how many are willing or not willing to serve with homosexuals.

Only time will tell for sure. However the MSM and Academe, have been systematically defining deviancy down for decades and in the end they will probably win this battle too, only time will tell.

You'll see a return to the Draft before you'd see a reversal of a repeal of Don't-ask-don't-tell. Bank on that.
