So they LIE and prevaricate throughout their campaigns, and trick ordinary American voters into believing the lies on election day.

At least I learned that Churchill's quotation about "rum, sodomy, and the lash" is apparently only apocryphal.... I'd heard that he said it, but when I searched on the quotation just now it seems that he never did say that:
"The only traditions of the Royal Navy are rum, sodomy and the lash"

Apparently it was not even said about the Royal Navy, or at least not by Churchill as alleged.
Probably some left-wing journalist just made up the quotation because it seemed useful......
Don't be silly. They can't all be doing it standing all the time -- that would be exhausting.
