As mentioned in earlier posts, Louis Farrakhan, the Black Panthers and others who so enthusiastically supported Obama are often hostile to gay “rights” and the homosexual lobby. I think this might be a real factor in Obama’s decisions, i.e. support from both militant and ordinary church going blacks count for a lot more than support from the homosexual militants.
The gays are still smarting from the fact that black Obama voters voted up Prop. 8. They’re likely to be a bit touchy during his administration, and we need to use that wedge whenever possible.
