That’s not true. People leave with citizen children all the time. Having kids born here will not keep you here if you are not a citizen. They can’t file a petition for you until they are 21 years old. If a person has been here ten years and can show that being deported will cause extreme hardship to an immediate family member who is a citizen, it is possible that an immigration judge could grant cancellation of removal and allow the person to stay. If the person has only been here a few months there is probably no remedy available for her to keep her here in the U.S. She might be able to get her visa extended temporarily until the babies are healthy enough to travel, but she’s not going to be given the legal right to stay permanently.
You can believe what you want to believe, but I know a little bit about this stuff because I’ve filed plenty of immigration paperwork for people and have represented aliens in removal proceedings in immigration court. My partner does nothing but immigration law. I’ve seen a lot of aliens leave the country and take their citizen children with them. If you don’t want to believe it happens, suit yourself.
