As I quoted earlier...

“Warren is coming to give the invocation at the inauguration, a “sacred” ceremony in our civic religion that celebrates the peaceful transition of power. Yes, Obama’s views on abortion are repugnant, but his inauguration still represents an essential moment in our constitutional Republic that should be celebrated with prayer, especially when the public official is clearly in need of it. I see Warren’s participation as sanctioning and celebrating our constitutional order, not Obama’s pro-choice views.”

"As I quoted earlier..."

And I responded later saying do they actually think they are calling on Abraham's God? The invocation becomes a secular show of feigning piety (The wicked think it's sincere) while feeling the surge of self-importance.

In order to reach God (Which the true prophets/The Son/Apostles taught throughout the Old and New Testaments) one/Country must actually repent, not just call for repentance (This goes for any Repub Pres./Any Congresscritter/Judge as well).

Of course PurpleMan, one who cherry picks and takes things out of context would not know a darn thing about the whole Word. And PurleMan, abortion is just a piece of the whole puzzle when it comes to the public defiance Obama, a professed Christian, has shown against the Creator's Word. Alinsky would be proud but I don't think Alinsky is God, do you?

As I said somewhere else, Warren can have a nice attempt at sincerity and hope during the invocation, but if Obama, the professed Christian in charge of the Executive Branch starts overriding certain EOs in his first week of office, Rick better say "adios and don't call me, I will call you." And if there is some sort of miracle and Obama as a Christian, actually starts adhering to the Word instead of man's POV in order to assimilate the Bible with the world (Cherry pick, take things out of context in order to fit sin in) and the letter/spirit of the Constitution then a happy ending to all this will come about.

My beef is with the "Christian" Obama, if Obama was new to Christianity or a non-Christian, then I could actully show some respect and call on any Christian minister to work with him. But alas he claims to know the Scriptures and feels he is called by God to be some sort of instrumental figure (What side he chooses will be intersting to see) so becomes an apostate if he acts on campaign promises (And it's not just abortion Mr. "your just a blind single issue windbag" subterfuge).
