Olmert: Qassams will receive response

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert voted in the Kadima primary elections and spoke about the Qassam rockets raining down on the Negev.
“The fire just stresses what we have been saying all along, which is that we cannot consent to a situation in which there is a supposed lull, but the reality is completely different. Of course this requires our attention, and there will be a response,” Olmert said. (Ronen Medzini)
hasn’t he turned over the reins yet . . . Olmert wouldn’t know what a proper “response” was if it smacked him upside the head.
