Who was the "worthiest"?
My opinion doesn't matter, and the issue of who isn't the point.
The point is that far too many GOP supporters didn't realize what was going on when the GOP endorsed, and pushed RINOs to the top (such as Guiliani and McCain), and relegated the others to being ignored and unsupported. Nobody got suspicious enough to suspect anything, and those of us that did endured strong criticism for not being "team players".
Too many people here in this thread have already brought up too much information as to why McCain didn't belong on a conservative party ticket. If you want to believe that he should have been the man, then go right ahead. But from what I read, you and those with you are a dwindling minority here, as well as holding fast to some pretty serious falsehoods in spite of the facts.

My opinion doesn't matter Neither did your opinion matter when you opined that all the "worthy" candidates had been killed off by the GOP, but that didn't stop you from making your rash, relativistic judgment.
So, why are you now unwilling to name the candidate you think was most "worthy"?
