Any birth records in Canada are only available for immediate family unless they were born more than 75 years ago. Records from Kenya pre-independence were all taken to London once Kenya became independent Dec.12/63. I am surprised no one has gone to London to look at those records!

How do you know that Engineer? I trained as an RN at Vancouver General Hospital from 1965 - 1968. Although I no longer live in Vancouver I have been attempting to get a friend to go to medical records to see if Ann Dunham was a patient in VGH on August 4, 1961. Since one is not asking for “medical information” but simply asking if a person was hospitalized in that hospital on that date is fair game as far as I’m given to understand. I know that it involves going back through micro fisched records but it can be done. I am still attempting to get someone to get around to actually DOING it. The answer just might be what we are looking for. CO
