Allow me to take it one step further: Washingtonians are the forbears of the Morlocks. Fortunately, not all of the citizens living in flyover country have evolved into Eloi.

Newt is just another run-of-the-mill Washingtonian.
That one surprised me. I wonder if FNC's ratings are down. I used to have Fox News on all the time. Now I rarely watch. Believe it or not, Greta seems to be doing the only fair reporting at FNC.

I agree, and as far as Rove is concerned I think all of them belong to the CFR. I used to have on my tin-foil hat concerning this group but not any more.
My concern now is centered around or so called conseravtive talking heads and their complete silence concerning Obama’s COLB.
I have also stopped listening to them until such time as they do.

They don’t. It is next to impossible to do good in any business in that area and not be a card carrying rat.
We spent the first year of our marriage working in Chicago and living in Cicero, a suburb.
The Rat party was so strong, that even then you didn’t tell people that you were a Republican.
Fortunately, I had a sales territory that took me out of ChiTown 60% of the time into the farmland cites/towns of N Illinois and Iowa along the big M river. That way I got back into sanity and received innoculations against becoming a Chi Town rat.
I got called up by the Navy Reserves during the Cuban crisis and stayed active for two years. I told my wife, that I would never moved back to Chicago due to the politics and terrible weather. She didn’t really argue since she came from a conservative rural area in Illinois.
