It is the income tax that taxes ALL other taxes [including excise] again.
All sales taxes - state, local, etc are paid with after tax dollars... that’s tax on tax.
So what is it you object to? If you object to the taxing of taxes, it is the income tax that is by far worse!

The FairTax does not eliminate state and local sales taxes, but it does do away with the ability to deduct them from federal taxes.
