What gets me about all of this is were there any appreciable scandals of this nature floating around when President Bush was preparing to take office???

If this is the kind of thing Obama brings to the table before he takes office...I am really concerned about his ability to effectively lead this country in any direction other than downhill with no brakes...
Take these into account:
- birth certificate (natural born) issue...[dead on arrival]
- Connection to his vacated senate seat discussions...[in play]
- Chief of Staff involvement with the Senate seat issue...[in play]
Lets populate the list of things that are already hanging like a 20 ton yoke on the elected leader of the free world now...
Sounds to me like this is going to take years to clear up...And he still has to have time to take care of all of or bills, bailing friends out...etc etc etc
