The O.J. Simpson affair is illuminating. The first time around alternate justice was somehow understood, digested and accepted. But when recidivism came around, it all became merciless derision. Fooled me once your merit, fooled me twice my fault.

This is the real merit of insisting on the Birth Certificate, because regardless of the nit-picking law, trust in Obama gets demoted a notch... and eventually, after saying that he didn’t know, never met, wasn’t there... he’ll be the guy so slippery, elusive and secretive that he couldn’t even show his own birth certificate. And hopefully a media that accorded him so much blind trust, will begin to have a field day doing the vetting they had forgotten to do at the right time.

Rahm Emanuel, a congressman from Chicago and a friend of Obama's, told me that he, Obama, David Wilhelm, who was Blagojevich's campaign co-chair, and another Blagojevich aide were the top strategists of Blagojevich's victory. ... although David Wilhelm, who now works for Obama, said that Emanuel had overstated Obama's role.

Don't shoot me, but I think this David Wilhelm's statement is correct, more to the truth.

1. In that 2002 election a Dead Dog would have won against any IL Republican. Thanks to that #@&%*ing criminal George Ryan (RINO-FELON) the IL GOP was destroyed and still is. To boot, the IL GOP 'picks'₍₁₎ über RINO, Judy Barr-Toopinkforme as the candidate. She got a whopping 38% of the vote.

2. Rahm Emanuel is a slimy egomaniac sociopath, and anything he's involved with -HE and his cronies are the top dogs and HE was responsible for whatever happened.

So IMHO Rahm Emanuel was tooting his own horn, stroking his ego but his and Barry's involvement with Blago's win was almost nil. The fact is any DEM would have won that election. Including a Dead Dog.

(1) There were three major candidates in the IL GOP primary. Two were conservatives that split that vote and got a combined 51%, and RINO Judy who got 38%, just as she later did in the GE. (Rumor had it one of the conservatives was a stalking horse for the IL GOP RINOs).
