That's the thanks we get. In the days of Sadaam he wouldn't still be breathing

If he WAS breathing, under Sadaam, he would be screaming.

He seems like the type of idiot who would fight back the law in a physical way, so they would have no choice but to subdue him violently too. He’s like any liberal - resents anyone in authority.

Sorry, I’m going to want to see the broken arm and ribs and the cuts for myself before I believe this.

He threw pretty well for a guy with a broken arm and broken ribs. The Yankees will probably offer him a 40 million dollar contract.

"He’s like any liberal - resents anyone in authority"

Resistance and lack of respect for "authority" is not necessarily a "liberal" trait.

Guess he didn’t think there would be CONSEQUENCES for throwing a shoe at the leader of the free world.

I’m really tired of NOT hearing how embarrassed the Iraqi journalists were. Instead all we see are the films representing the support rallies.

“ournalist who threw shoes at Bush, Muntazer al-Zaidi, ‘has broken arm and ribs”

I think they should lock him in a cell and make him listen to Madonna all day and night.

Funny how this coward and others like him never had the courage to throw shoes at Saddam or even look at Qusay Hussein the wrong way.

Funny how all the media Leftists cheer this so-called “journalist” on but would never themselves have had any courage to throw shoes at Hussein.

Lesson learned - just let those suffering under tyrants continue to suffer forever.

Had an unreconstructed Nazi thrown his shoes at, say, Winston Churchill in 1945, would the British press have been equally exorcised?

They’ve taken it as their pet cause for decades and run with it. It obtains their objectives because it’s always newsworthy and engenders sympathy in a large segment of the population who wonder what their cause is.
