Fitzgerald Renews Interest in Rezko-Obama Deal ("fraud, bribes or kickbacks")

Since arresting Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has renewed interest in convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko's part in the purchase of Barack Obama's Chicago mansion, according to a former real estate analyst who says he was interviewed by the federal prosecutor in the past 10 days.
Kenneth J. Conner told WND he was interviewed by investigators from Fitzgerald's office regarding the purchase of the Obama mansion and the adjacent vacant lot that Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased simultaneously. As WND reported last week, Connor filed a civil complaint in October with the Illinois Circuit Court in Cook County alleging he was fired by Mutual Bank of Harvey, Ill., because he objected to land appraisals submitted on behalf of the Rezkos and the Obamas, with the complicity of the bank.
Connor previously confirmed to WND that he told the FBI, months ago, when he initially was fired, that the bank and the Rezkos were engaged in "fraud, bribes or kickbacks, use whatever term you want," to benefit the Obamas.
Connor said his lawyer, Glenn R. Gaffney, also has been interviewed by the FBI about the Rezko-Obama deal within the past 10 days.

Will the general public ever get wind of this? Did Rezko also sell Obama a birth certificate? Stay tuned to “As the World Turns.”

Fitzgerald will just disappear. That’s the Chicago Way.

There was an article on FR last week citing a headline posted at DrudgeReport. The headline stated that a grand jury had subpoenaed the bank paperwork on this.

"If in fact the entire deal was a payoff from Tony Rezko to Barack Obama, a payoff or kickback, use whatever word you like, then for the deal to work, what had to happen was that Rezko had to over-pay for the vacant lot by as much as possible, or by the desired amount of the payoff, in any event."Gosh I'm dumb. Could someone explain to me how the money gets/got back to Obama? As I read the article, the money goes between the Obamas and the bank (the mortgage on the house) and between Mrs. Rezko and the bank (the mortgage on the vacant lot.)
What am I missing here?

While he may do that, it may well make things look like this so called transparent administration of his, as he proclaims it is to be, will be clouded with a window as blacked out as the windows were in my S&C/TS cages were when handling classified materials.

Obama can’t fire Fitzgerald now that he arrested Blago and is sniffing around the Rezko deal. The fallout would be painful for Obama, making him look more like a corruption-laden politician than he has presented himself to be. I read one poll where nearly 50% of respondents thought Obama was involved in the Blago scandal. Hussein is going to have to tread softly on this one.

The Electoral College voted today so my husband says no matter what the “they” is that find out whatever there is to find out it won't matter a whit, that the dems will make sure of that. By the way, yesterday on the site, someone posted a link on a discussion thread about 0bama’s citizenship status and lo and behold there was ol Richardson speaking in Spanish telling the group he was addressing that 0bama is an immigrant.
To: Mind-numbed Robot
Yeah but the guy's saying there was
a transfer of money involved between Rezko and the Obamas. If there was, it wasn't from any of the Obama and Rezko mortgage transactions (described in the WND story) made at the bank where this guy was working, and that's the whole basis for his claim. That's what I don't get.
I'll have to read up on this.

The whole MSM is rushing to exonerate B Hussein, including O’Reilly.

"has renewed interest in convicted fundraiser Tony Rezko's part in the purchase of Barack Obama's Chicago mansion,""Hussein is not a person of interest in this investigation."

“Fitzgerald wont be fired”
Thats what they said about Charlie Banks before Clinton fired him in 1993 along with the other 92 U.S. attorneys...so it wouldn’t look so obvious.
