Strikes me as entirely possible that the current President could and should intervene if was/is adequate and appropriate evidence.
A person would have thought that FBI and CIA and other resources would have already been used.
Protection of the state inclusive of constitution is a part his job!
Part of “his job” ALSO requires he not toss our capitalist free market system to the dogs, so to institute socialism, the nationalization of private SOLVENT banks, and the nationalization of American industry. That sort of government intervention has a name: “fascism”
Please do not tell me about President G.W. Bush’s “job”... He has abandoned the concept of capitalism, and is now so far separated from even the pretense of conservatism that it is laughable on face to seriously entertain the thought that he might intervene in restoring that which his oath of office requires: “...to protect and defend the Constitution of these United States...”
