That is, she had to be 19 years of age when she gave birth (time from conception is not counted).
The law has since been changed, but it wasn't made retroactive.
Strange eh?
Even if that's true, she could have easily had him naturalized, given he was her son and she is a US citizen. Furthermore, even before he were naturalied, she would have been eligible for all the welfare benefits for mothers with dependent children due to her citizenship.
What I want to know is what makes all these birthers think he was born in Kenya. We know his parents were living in Hawaii before he was born. Why on earth would a preganant US citizen go to Kenya to give birth? Doesn't the sheer impluasibility of that bother you?
Yes indeed. What is also strange is that Jennie Jerome was born and raised in America. She was 20 years old when she married Randolph Churchill. Winston Spencer Churchill was born in 1874 in England to her and Randolph.
In 1963 Sir Winston Churchill was accorded one of his greatest honours. He was given honorary citizenship of the United States of America. If I posted this to you before please accept my apologies. Perhaps others may find it useful.
Ergo: Why give this honour if Churchill was already an American citizen? He could not have been. American mother or no.
