Next year holds a big dream: by its end, the world will have forged a treaty in Copenhagen to shrink global warming from mankind-threatening juggernaut to manageable problem.

It’s amazing how so many can be fooled by so few.
Climate Change is the biggest scam in the history of the modern world.

Somebody stands to make a barrel of money over this Global Warming, Climate Change, Carbon Credit, Cap and Trade scam.
And it IS a scam.
Now not being a scientist and probably not even being very bright, I cannot see where it helps anyone, to allow a plant that is harming the atmosphere to remain harming the atmosphere if they buy credits from somewhere that isnt harming the atmosphere.
Take the money that would be used to buy Carbon credits and invest it in cleaning up the offending plant. I realise that Al Gore and his carbon credit company wouldnt get rich that way, but at least those people who live near the plant could breathe easier.

After a year in which it nearly lost its compass, the campaign against climate change heads into 2009 needing top-level political commitment, creative thinking and a deep well of money.Fortunately, Obama was elected Emperor of the World and will (single-handedly, mind you!) cure the Earth's Glow Bull Warming problem by . . . . . . . (TBD)!

“a deep well of money.” Whose money? Maybe the 50%(and shrinking) who actually pay taxes.

UN scientists published a bible-sized report Bible is right. For a new religion to be successful it needs to follow the classic formula closely. Believers wouldn't take their bible seriously if was too long or too short.
