He should be shot. How can Americans, or for that matter, foreign investors have any fatih in doing business or investing. The market is corrupt, the SEC is toothless and these perps get off easy time and time again. Disgusting.

One plant can mean a whole crop, unlikely that Madoff is the only fund like this.

Some of these are the most informed financial people in the world and they couldn’t figure out that this was a Ponzi scheme. And then they expect me to figure out how to invest a 401-k.

Will all these "poor, innocent victims" be receiving "bail-out" funds?
Oh, wait, Sen. Lautenburg is ONE OF THEM!
How's that for answering my own question?

Wonder if this is a BIG scam? Wonder if Madoff did exactly what was expected? Maybe it is an effort to keep money away from Obama. Look out folks...

I was just told by someone that Bernie Madof is on Bush’s short list of people to PARDON before leaving office. I hope and pray that is NOT the case. Madof and a bunch of other wall street thieves need to see nothing but the inside of a jail cell for the rest of their days.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg is getting off easier than a lot of the victims. At least Lautenberg didn't lose his fat cat pension.
