Yesterday, Madigan said her office KNEW about the investigation!!! She was TIPPED OFF....therefore, I’m guessing she TIPPED OFF OBAMA!!
You know this could get interesting... either Blago or neurotic or this is more complicated than the mainstream media is making it out to be.

Through their "cooperation" with the FBI the Tribune Company brass found out the investigation was also leading to Obama's staff's involvement with the Senate seat sale, and they rushed to stop it by going public about the wire surveillance.
Win, win for the Trib: their $ deal with the state re Wrigley Field is now secure, since Blago can't touch it, while their golden boy has been saved from disaster.
That is what I was thinking. That she told Obama to NOT work out a deal with him.
