Espinoza said the recession's onset took him by surprise. He'll be seeing his country for the first time in nearly two decades. "I miss my country," said Espinoza, 34, who is returning to Guadalajara, Jalisco.

So this Espinoza hasn't been to Mexico in two decades--twenty years--but still calls it "his country"?!?!?! What is wrong with this freaking picture!?!?!?!?!

Maybe he tried and failed to get permanent residency here. You con’t expect someone to consider this “his country” if he’s still here on a work visa, can you?

He's here on a work visa, and it wasn't renewed. You can't have it both ways: imagine the reaction if he said he felt "entitled" to stay.
