DENVER After going months without a full-time job, Daniel Ramirez has decided it's time to return to family in Mexico.
Vicenta Rodriguez Lopez says she can't afford to live in Colorado any more because her husband was deported.
Roberto Espinoza is going back, too. After 18 years as a mechanic for a General Motors dealership in Denver, his work permit wasn't renewed and he didn't want to remain in the country illegally.

In southern Delaware, some illegals are returning home.
But they say they plan to leave their wife and kiddies here.
After all, why not, they say? The government will feed them, educate them, clothe them, and give them medical care, and subsidized or free housing.
And you know, they are right.
A few of us had coffee with our state representative to Dover. We gave him an earful about illegals.
We have had it with them.

Maybe he tried and failed to get permanent residency here. You con’t expect someone to consider this “his country” if he’s still here on a work visa, can you?

Too bad we're losing him instead of many of the illegals who will surely remain here.

So this Espinoza hasn't been to Mexico in two decades--twenty years--but still calls it "his country"?!?!?! What is wrong with this freaking picture!?!?!?!?! He's here on a work visa, and it wasn't renewed. You can't have it both ways: imagine the reaction if he said he felt "entitled" to stay.

The other day we were treated to a long feature story in the Arizona Republic about all these people being "forced" to leave and go back to Mexico. It was a real sob fest. One Mexican resident was whining because his sister used to wire him a couple hundred bucks from the US every two weeks and he hasn't heard anything from her for two months now.
...where is my tiny violin...?
Then there was one sentence stuck in there that mentioned lots of illegals were moving to California, which is seen as more "immigrant friendly" than Arizona. (Thank you, Sheriff Joe Arpaio!) Just what bankrupt California needs, right?

It’s propaganda using exaggeration. A new horde of them was imported from Mexico, Central America and South America for temp. construction labor a few days ago, and nearly all of the rest are staying. If they can get an average of one day of work per week, they’ll stay. For one currency example, the peso was recently pushed down again by another putsch from free traitors.

Some Mexicans leaving U.S., planning never to return, yeah right!
Don’t know about the ‘planning never to return’ part but I do see them in convoys now along the Interstate with their belongins in tow. So my guess is they are headed to the border as the jobs are playing out.

She probably got herself a "bonito" (handsome) "viejo" (old) Gringo to sponsor her.

I know my local walmart is no longer crowed with peoples speaking languages I do not understand. Prior to November it was not possible to make it up and down the isles without numbers of peoples conversing in languages other than English.
I do not know where these peoples have gone but they have apparently moved on. Oh and the unknown languages were not only Spanish.

So I can expect my Arizona car insurance rates to drop now, right? Because all of the uninsured motorists are leaving Arizona? And because if I go see a movie I won't have to worry about having my car stolen? Right?
I'm not holding my breath.

The Walmart in Frisco (ski resort area) is full of Muslim West African employees. They don't speak English much. Many of the customers there are Mexicans.
