Despite what you’ve done lately, George-—God bless you. I’m sure the troops will enjoy the visit.

God bless President Bush and our troops for keeping the US safe. I pray that the next president knows how to keep us safe but I have the worst feeling.

Well, I still think that the President has shifted into Liberal-mode and isn’t thinking right. Giving a boatload of money to Paulson and Bernanke (who then skimmed $3 MILLION each off the top to pay themselves) with NO preconditions was a desperate move to placate liberals. Not building the d@mn fence and allowing Mexico to continue to funnel people they don’t want to deal with along with drugs into the USofA is not the agenda of a sane-sided right mind. NOT pardoning Ramos and Compean because “your” guy, Johnny Sutton prosecuted them is also wrong-headed, stubborn, and leftist-agendized.

The President we saw on 09/11/2001 is not the same man who signed a bill giving nearly a Trillion Dollars to Wall Street and who wants to use some of that money to bail out Automakers who have been living with their heads in the sand, building gas-guzzlers.

President Bush seems to be two people. The good Bush who is a force for good and the other Bush who is a force for liberal politics. I wish the Good Bush a Merry Christmas. I hope the Other Bush will find solace on January 21, 2009.

Have a safe trip, Mr. President. Iraq is certainly much safer thanks to this victory in the war on terror. Merry Christmas to all the troops in Iraq, and to all the Iraqi Christians, عيد الميلاد سعيد

He has shown very strong leadership against all odds, against defeatists and traitors here at home, he stayed the course, and together with our brave troops President Bush brought us VICTORY in Iraq.

God Bless President Bush and our brave troops.

The ME is a different place, and yet is the same. Egypt and Saudi are gearing up to oppose Iranian expansionism, which seems like a reasonable thing to do. At least Iraq is no longer threatening a rain of fire on Israel.

May God bless President Bush! I live in Ann Arbor, MI, and I am literally the only person I know here who doesn’t consider him a failure.

I think he is the greatest president of my lifetime, and I’m never reluctant to say so if asked. That view drives all the liberals here completely crazy.

just 37 days before he hands the war off to a successor who has pledged to end it
...and then decided that it is ending due to success, and intends to use the same approach to lead to victory in Afghanistan.

His successor will follow the same policy already in place - and why not? The war is ending itself.

FoxNews is showing the video of the guy throwing shoes at President Bush at that presser in Iraq.

My question is this:
How did the Secret Service allow the guy time to get a 2nd shoe thrown?
He should have been dead by the time the first shoe reached the podium.
