For years, Al Gore and other environmental extremists have sounded the alarm about the global climate crisis. I agree especially after yesterday’s freakish snowfall in New Orleans. It is high time for all clear minded scientists to unite behind a plan to combat global cooling.
It should be clear to everyone now that global cooling is a real problem. In fact, the cooling of the earth’s temperature is a real crisis that demands action. Yesterday, the metropolitan New Orleans area received the earliest snowfall in recorded history. Some suburban areas north of New Orleans received 8 inches of snow! This is history making and disturbing, so why is global cooling impacting New Orleans?
Sadly, that question is being ignored by Al Gore, who continues to pursue the myth that humans are causing the temperature of the earth to increase. He believes in global warming as a religion and it is scary sight to behold. Gore is also pushing the use of carbon credits, which are designed to supposedly limit the “carbon footprint” of individuals and businesses. Hollywood is completely on board with Gore’s radical global warming agenda and continues to produce movies which warn of the climate crisis. Today, a new movie called “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” will be released starring Keanu Reeves as an alien visiting earth warning people that they are damaging the planet. One reviewer called the movie’s ecological emphasis “preachy.”
Gore should visit New Orleans to investigate what is really happening. Yesterday the rare snowfall was an amazing sight that kids of all ages enjoyed. Unfortunately, for those who lost power or had to deal with dangerous road conditions, it was a much more uncomfortable situation.
Barack Obama is fully supportive of the Gore agenda and agrees with the global warming hysterics. He has committed to make the fight against global warming a signature issue in his upcoming administration. It seems like the President-Elect might have identified the wrong problem.
According to noted geologist and famed hurricane forecaster William Gray, the temperature of the earth will cool over the next ten years. In addition, a recent report by the University of Illinois and the NASA Marshall Flight Center showed that artic ice levels have actually increased 30% in the past year.
New Orleans is not the only place in the United States to face unseasonably cold weather this year. In fact, Alaska is dealing with the coldest start to their winter season in 16 years.
In another sign that the global warming “crisis” is nothing more than a hoax, a new U.S. Senate report includes statements from 650 international scientists who dispute the claims about man-made global warming. The report maintains that the sun is the actual cause of about half of the earth’s climate change. More and more scientists are predicting that in the next ten years, the naturally occurring solar cycles will cause cooling conditions on earth. Dealing with global cooling, which may last longer than the normal solar cycle of 11 years should become a top priority for governments around the world.
Instead, Al Gore, Barack Obama, the United Nations and Hollywood are pointing to global warming as the crisis of the century. They should refrain from hysterical rhetoric and try to focus on what is really happening in places like New Orleans. In the Crescent City, snow is not seen very often, it has appeared only eight times since 1947. It was a rare event to say the least, almost as rare as Al Gore and his global warming fanatics actually making sense.
Those who insist on doing (saying) the same thing over and over and expecting a different result are f’in INSANE. Gore qualifies.
Some of us don't have to hear it on Rush - we just remember it.
That's what makes us so disinclined to believe the scare du jour.

But then they realized, there was nothing they could lay off on automobiles, so "global cooling" just wasn't going to accomplish anything they wanted.
LOL! Actually being a kid back then was great. I would hope being a kid anytime is great. I guess that’s up to the kid.

I had the pleasure of a nice conversation with a UN Special Ambassador on Global Climate Change some years ago. Sill got his card somewhere...
I confronted him on the anecdotal nature of scientific literature regarding global warming, and a number of glaring inadequacies in the science, hoping to hear some objective basis for the global warming... movement, if you will.
He had nothing. Literally, nothing.
In the years since, lower troposphere temperature measurements reveal that every degree of escalated global temperature has vanished, temperatures worldwide are below historical norms and still trending down.
There never was a shred of credible scientific basis for concern over global warming as a function of human activity, and I’d be more than happy to share data and statistics, but it is all beside the point.
Global warming is a phenomenon of political science, not natural science. It always has been.
Europe is ruled, not governed. America alone enjoys a political structure which respects individual sovereignty. People enjoy ownership over their own lives. What one may not understand as an American is, the rest of the planet is relatively barbaric by comparison, and they are sick of failing in competition with human liberty. We have redeemed a barbaric world from colonialism, the African slave trade, two world wars and a century of struggle against socialist imperialism.
Domestic barbarians and foreign, primarily European, see a golden opportunity to reduce you from liberated humanity to relatively more enslaved people over a broad agenda of global rule, and the global warming agenda is item one on the agenda.
In a word, you will be subject to a tax on the weather folks, that’s the plan.
There is no basis nor reason for the global warming agenda but to deprive you of liberty.
A generation ago, the notion that politicians would tax you for your weather would get a chuckle and a nod.
Now, it is reality.
Your glaciers are back. What do we do now?

The single constant in the record of global climate is constant change.
There is nothing we can do to change the climate of the Earth.
Because we are millionaire billionaires, our mantra is “Tax the evil rich!!”
Because we are generally rich, racist elitists and exploitative opportunists, our mantra is “we stand-up for poor minorities!!”
Everything is opposite. It's like bizzaro world.
Libs are experts at holding two or more diametrically opposed and absolutely contradictory principals as all being equally worthy and true.
In the case of “global warming” (snicker) they have created a particularly Gordian train of logic. They support the global despotism and socialism that is the baggage associated with the movement. But supporting the movement hurts their Muslim brothers who are the primary contributors to their other antics such as Greenpeace, Anwar, PETA, anti-nuc etc.
So they walk the fine line of banning carbon fuels and to do fund raising to ostensibly support alternative energy and “greening” the planet while making sure that the negative repercussions of this nonsense only affects the U.5. and the status quo is maintained. That is their charge and it is amusing to watch them juggle, especially now. With the current state of the world they are juggling on a trampoline.
In hardship people are forced to grow up and mature and they become much less tolerant of bulls**t. This does not bode well for Mr. Gore or Mr. Soreto.
