the Free Press and the Detroit News
The Freep and News publish a joint paper on Sundays, which I buy for the coupons. The rest of the time I read them on-line (with barf bucket in handy for reading the Freep).
What percent of that 22% and 15% considers themselves conservative?
the few readers left in the area read the oakland press and the observer and eccentric papers so they can find out what’s going on in their area instead of reading the crap that happens south of 8 mile.
To all: If you haven't already canceled your daily newspaper, please consider doing so. The one-two punch of recession and the Internet have really put newspapers on the ropes. This is the best opportunity political conservatives have had in years to finally put the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party out of business. In ordinary times, the act of a few Republicans canceling their paper wouldn't have much effect. But today, that might be enough to push many papers over the edge. With the newspapers go the Associated Press, which is arguably the single biggest threat to the ability of the American people to conduct self-government. The AP is a cooperative owned by its member newspapers. If enough of them go out of business, the AP will go out of business, and with them Ron Fornier, Liz Sidoti, and the rest of the Democratic Party activists who pose as "journalists" in our so-called "news" industry. Ask yourself: do you really want to see another election like this past one, where the press hounds every Republican from dawn to dusk while promoting a totally unqualified, wet-behind-the-ears amateur whom they see as their Messiah? Do we really need a "news" industry that publishes photos of The One with a halo? If you don't think so, do your part: stop supporting these Democrat activists with your money. Cancel the paper. |
We canceled our newspaper six years ago.
Print media bailout:
...here’s a quarter, call someone who cares.
Is this cut back related to increases in illiteracy of foreigners primarily from Muslim countries plus a education crisis in Detroit schools with a High School graduation rate of 40%?
I don’t suppose it ever occurred to them to stop reporting directly from DNC headquarters and simply reported news that the average citizen needs to know about his/her town.
News about the business climate that is truthful, not a screed against President Bush, etc etc etc.
International news that may affect Americans.......is that too much to ask.
“I read them on-line”
I take it you read them in the sense of studying the enemy?
As we see the mediots rally around Obama in his ChiTown mess with lies, spins, spiking of stories and deletions meetings with the endangered governor, there should be no tears for our side when there no more MSM mediots.

Here in Californiagoing Broke, millions of illegals from South of the border can not read English. Then add the dumbing down of most students in the public school system for 20+ years for a one two punch.
