Why has he even bothered to muck up our Justice system with this 'non-issue'; when it can otherwise be rendered null and void; by the wave of this piece of paper.

I'm not quite sure how Obama has "mucked up" our justice system. He hasn't filed any suits and nobody with any legal authority has demanded that he produce anything. Every lawsuit filed against him so far has been laughed out of court. Why is it incumbent upon Obama to placate this fringe group of people who are filing lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit?

And, c'mon, let's at least be honest. Waving a piece of paper will never make this go away. Obama could produce video of his birth on the steps of the Hawaiian State Capitol and the conspiracy nuts will just embrace Donofrio's absurd "Plan B" argument centered around his father's citizenship.

This has never been about the Constitution. It is about keeping Obama out of the White House.

Why do people say, this is about keeping Obama out of White House; when if he gave permission for Hawaii Authorities to release his BC; there would be NO issue (despite your analysis); and certainly NO keeping him out of White House either.

This is a 'straw' argument. It does make sense; to those who care about America's Constitution to want to know the truth of Obama's legitimacy. . .and given the 'vetting' Obama NEVER received; and his refusal to be forthcoming; it should raise the interest of every voting citizen who cares that America's President be legitimate. Might save on 'pay to play' schemes that come down the line; and might circumvent any bribes from our enemies who might have a different story about Obama's birth history, which now, thanks to Obama himself; can be seen as no more than the mysterious 'birth of Obama'.

An odd choice of response for a man who has, from the beginning; promised 'transparency' while he is in office; and instead; we get obfuscation; and we are offered essentially, a brick wall for concerned citizens to bang their head against.
