***The Lewinsky thing was the result of Paula Jones’s lawsuit, which I did not hold in high regard because I knew the Clintoon team was covering it up real good. Thank heavens for Linda Tripp, who probably never would have recorded her conversation if a high administration official had never said to the press, “That woman is not to be believed.”
The one I’m disappointed in as far as us freepers was Gennifer Flowers’s tape recording of Clinton telling her to lie, even under oath, about their affair. If we had pursued it vigorously back then, we could have knocked him down before he did any damage.
So that’s part of the history of why I am well motivated on this issue which would simply have gone away for $10. There’s enough political damage being done right now to zer0bama for him to have sprung any trap related to this thing.
