If Zero saw a crime going down and failed to report, that is a crime in and of itself.

As a lawyer he is an "officer of the court", failing to report a conspiracy would be a breach of legal ethics which could lead to disbarment, no?

This may not matter but both he and his bride have let their law licenses lapse. I believe he did not renew his before he was selected to be senator. I think it was even earlier for her.
