Or a Glock 27 in .40

That’s an interesting challenge with the warm climate and all. If I weren’t wearing a parka outdoors most of the time, a Glock 36 (.45 ACP) would seem to be a good choice.

Kal-Tec P3AT fits nicely in my Carhartt pocket T's or Dockers wallet pocket and that's where it is just about all the time I'm vertical and dressed.
Had it a couple of years now. Went through the washer once. Never cleaned it other than that. It's fired every time I've pulled the trigger. Like carrying pocket change.

Just curious - Do you carry the 642 in your pocket (holster) or some other way? I’m the proud new owner of a 340PD, and I’m trying out several ways of carrying it - so far with an IWB and also with a ‘belly band’...

Weather & event usually determine my choice.
Normal everyday carry is a XD-45 compact. In the truck console is a Kel-Tec P3AT that disappears in a pocket should the XD prove to large for the moment. There is also a S&W J-frame Airweight with snake shot (first two anyway) for those day hikes and canoe river runs.

We are in the process of getting our permits. Can you buy amoo without a permit or documentation? We don’t want to wait until the permits (30-60 days) to get it.

I use a Mika pocket holster. It disappears in my front pocket. The Mika’s are hand made one at a time(they’re even signed). It has a “sticky” fabric band around the outside to help keep from drawing the holster.
The Glock rides in one of those plastic paddle holsters with the snap retainer from Blackhawk. It has a button to release the pistol when drawing. The only bad thing about the paddle holster... I just about have to take my pants off to remove the thing. It has these little tabs that grip the belt, they always refuse to let go when I’m unloading for the day.

These are just little pea shooters, but they sure are concealable.
Some old guy up in Dallas area shot up a couple muggers with knives pretty good with one.

Most states have no restrictions on buying ammo.
The
NRA Gun Law page may have more information on your state.
AIM Surplus has a summary of the rules for where they'll sell by mail
here.
Or, you could go to Walmart or a sporting goods store and ask.

Carry a Ruger SP101 snubby in .357 for everyday carry. Use an IWB holster. Something I guess Plaxico should look into once he gets out of jail. For fishing or hiking I go to my Ruger .44 mag. Not very concealable, but then you don’t need it to be in these instances.

Thanks Shooter for updating the link. It was listed as news last night and today it is linked to outdoors. That’s the first time I’ve seen WSAZ change a link like that. Maybe all we’re not happy at the station.

Good video, but I'm not too sure I like the idea of ladies carring a pistol around in their purse. If someone steals the purse, there goes the gun. Besides, some loose piece of whatever inside the purse could get jammed in the works. Galco does make some nice handbags for concealed carry though.
