In an interview with CNN- General Colin Powell said of Gov. Sarah Palin:

"Gov. Palin, to some extent, pushed the party more to the right, and I think she had something of a polarizing effect when she talked about how small town values are good. Well, most of us don’t live in small towns. And I was raised in the South Bronx, and there’s nothing wrong with my value system from the South Bronx."

I spent 4 years in South Central Bronx attending Fordham College as a Poly Sci major taught by a cadre of marxist kooks.

I was born in the area and lived a mile south of Fordham until 1948. Lots of the Bronx was pretty then. I attended NYU at University Heights in the early 1960's, still mostly pleasant neighborhoods. Right after that it started going down hill fast, hitting the bottom in the early 90's. It has sort of leveled off since then, still in the pits.

Powell is a total waste of time, and always has been, as far as I’m concerned. He’s full of hot air, and something else as well. Whenever I see him on TV I change the channel always have, always will.

There was a time when I would have voted Powell for President. I respected the man that much. Now he's reduced himself to demonizing a woman who was picked to run for what he probably thought was his right full, well earned office of VP. If he keeps this up, he should remove his Airborne patch.

Powell reputedly had several chances to actually run for high level elected office; he demurred. No guts, no glory, Colon, Old Chap. You are such a has-been. Governor Palin has a political future; you prospered courtesy of the Repyblicans you are so gleefully backstabbing. Obama isn’t going to give you any job of consequence, and probably nobody else is interested in a big-time turncoat.
