What the hideously disgusting Franken doesn't seem to realize is Minnesota law states very clearly that absentee voting is a privilege, not a right. Everything has to be just so, or it is rejected. Every one of these "improperly" rejected were in fact rejected for a specific reason.

Don't want to have your vote subject to increased scrutiny and rules? Then show up at your local polling place on election day and cast a ballot. Short of that, make sure all stated requirements of absentee voting are met and you ballot is mailed in on time. Otherwise, STHU.

Yeah...that works real well for so many of the military absentee votes that seem to get mishandled and not counted in EVERY election... including this one. Those sorry Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines need to get their act together and show up on election day and cast their votes if they want them to count. To hell with their duty... Their voice is only important if they care enough to show up at the polls...
