Who could possibly think they could just toss a bag with a body in it somewhere... and think it wouldn't be found? Why not bury it? ...Don't make no sense.

Perhaps drugs were involved. Poor choices are more likely if a person is using drugs.

It is possible that she thought the gators would take care of the evidence. This is Florida and there are remarks from searchers that the undeveloped lots where the remains were found were swampy. Really, though, there is not a bunch of evidence that Casey has any common sense. She did this and then went about her life as if she were care-free.
