If FReepers would put as much effort into Wiki's as they do in those idiotic "freep this poll" or "caption this pic" threads, we'd not have to complain about the media as much.
(Yes, I'm guilty too of participation in the caption threads periodically...lol)
Wiki is owned by liberals and subject to daily revision. There are marching marxist around the world who are trying to dominate web content (voting up/down polls, news items on Yahoo, politicizing all discussion on IMDB, music forums, etc.).
Some people have other things to do than spend 22 hours a day pushing back against liberals in college. Caption This threads may be gallows humor, making light of grim situations, but at least it shows contempt for the liberal status quo.
