“”Anyone care to guess how many umms and errs will be used?””

I’m not in the same room but his voice is filtering to me here at the computer and I can’t help but think his batteries are going to run down by 1/20! It’s like a motor that won’t start. I hope his batteries aren’t rechargeable. His manner of speech is so aggravating and irritating. Not only the ahhhs and hmmms but the accent on the last word in every sentence. Strange way to speak.

I refuse to either watch or listen to this choreographed charade. Fawning reporters and questions, all hand picked ahead of time. He will NEVER again take a chance on getting blindsided by a question, esp. after that “spread the wealth around” fiasco during the campaign. BTW, the only time I EVER hem and haw, stammer, or stutter, is when I’m asked a question and I’m trying to whitewash the answer—you know, a “does this make me look fat?” question. Ostammer, however, cannot speak directly and authoritatively because he is constantly monitoring himself. I’ve never heard him just actively express a full sentence. All those hems, haws, and unintelligible utterances are fillers. For those of us who tell the truth and don’t have to try to remember what we said before, his stammering is extremely annoying, along with the whistling s’s and the dropped words at end of sentences.
