A footnote to the 76-page criminal complaint and affidavit charging Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D) with soliciting bribes confirms what has long been rumored -- that a former longtime friend and fundraiser for President-elect Barack Obama is talking to federal prosecutors in hopes of a reduced sentence.
Antoin "Tony" Rezko's offer to provide authorities with evidence of others' wrongdoing is "not complete," and prosecutors are working to corroborate the claims he has made so far, the footnote said.

“The only one who comes close (IMHO) is da Kingfish”
And he once remarked that FDR feared him because he would “promise more”.
They all crawled out of the same cesspool in Chicago and we are supposed to believe Obama came out smelling like a rose while all the rest stink to high heaven???
Right...
The way they are presenting Obama in the article says they aren’t going to do anything about the crook, Obama.
Ron Brown and Vince Foster didn't get pardons.
I ‘m going with you on this one...i agree with your speculation here.
You may think up to now he is untouchable.Wax melts.
I keep hoping something will come of the Supreme Court and the birth certificate. If that were to go against Zero, this current scandal would reduce the intensity of protests against his being declared ineligible. I would love to see a one-two punch.
"He's crazy," said one talking head of our governor. "A sociopath!" said another. "He should have been put in a straitjacket, not handcuffs," said a third, all of them diagnosing Blagojevich as cuckoo.
Well, of course -- portraying Blago as crazy helps Obama -- who, everyone in the adorational media agrees, is calm, reasonable, honest and totally removed from any such "craziness." Therefore, Obama is totally innocent of any involvement in Blago's "crazy" schemes. How could anyone think otherwise?
That's what the public is meant to think, because the media can't afford to be honest now about Chicago politics, after having spent a year ignoring the rampant corruption for the sake of the O. The truth is, Blago is just a typical Chicago politician, swimming in the same cesspool as Obama. Daniel Kelly of the Chicago Daily Observer expands on the same theme as Kass:
Many commentators have opined that Blagojevich displayed incredible arrogance and stupidity in continuing to conduct business as usual in light of ongoing investigations into his corrupt activities that led to his arrest. Fair enough, but where were these complacent media mavens at while Blagojevich was skirting the rules and lining his pockets for close to two decades? Perhaps the governors colossal arrogance developed as the result of not being held accountable by the liberal media establishment for such a length of time....
Seldom, if ever, has an undeserving politician scaled such heights as Rod Blagojevich by virtue of a propitious marriage and a full head of well coiffed hair. This scandal may serve as a cautionary lesson for Barack Obama, whose personal career arc mirrors that of Blagojevich in numerous details.
Yep,
wouldn’t want him around to testify.
These people are Obama’s true “secret service.” They are not going to turn on him. The deeds they have done have been for his promotion and they have known the price from the beginning. He is their purpose.
Say what? Rezko is going to Jail?
I think I would sell that house now, but hey, I wasnt born a Kenyan citizen, what do I know... I was born an American citizen, with American parents, in America. Im not sophisticated like Hussein.
LOL - That ain't no lie. He's the anti-Christ I tell ya.

Michael Sneed at the Sun-Times has been reporting for a while now about Rezko singing in lieu of a lighter sentence.
I don’t think Rezko is going to sing on Obama because I think he’s angling for a pardon. He can sing on Blago and Alexi & family and deliver bigger fish, but still hold out for the pardon from Obama. Blago being Blago might sing on bigger fish to try and save himself.
linging canaries?
