Yes, they need to hear from us!

And as you said, we are OFFENDED. They worry about “offending” the people who don’t even celebrate Christmas, but not about us.

It might be a good idea to contact the people who run the malls, as well.

The only proper distinction is between

on the taxpayers' dollar

and

on someone's private dollar.

That is the only legitimate way to view this. If goodhearted, well-meaning people would stop insisting on taxpayer-funded religious displays, all would be fine. The comments on this thread that say not to shop where Christmas is obliterated are right. But we shouldn't take it too far. Analyze it. Slice and dice. It's not all the same issue.

Merry Christmas.

• Public schools increasingly call Christmas vacation something like “winter break.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I am in Utah this week skiing. My husband and I were in Centerville, Utah, visiting friends. We drove past the Centerville elementary school. Proudly displayed on their sign: “ **WINTER**break ( with the dates)

So?....Centerville, Utah is likely 95% Mormon, yet, their elementary school has buckled under the pressure of political correctness. I bet the overwhelming majority of the Mormons using that Marxist indoctrination camp think their government school is just wonderful. What fools!

If a community like Centerville can worship at the altar of atheistic Secular Humanism there any hope for this nation?

IF Christ..mass is of God, the “gates of hell will not prevail against it”. If not..then it will be God that destroys this tradition of men for what it is. We are moving in to a time that will severely confuse MANY believers. What they ASSUMED has been Gods...and has pleased God will be stripped away. God said..our ways are NOT His ways. What is coming will shake the very foundation of mens faith in a God they made in their image. Many who once praised Him will curse Him....because they never knew Him to begin with.

When will Atheism become the State religion which is seen and heard everywhere (your “God talk” won’t be tolerated but all talk of the no god god will).
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

When? Atheism has been the official state religion for several generation already!

Every government school is an Atheism Temple. Where have you been? Asleep?

Secularism is also a belief system.

Secularism is a **religious** belief system. When the government establishes the religious belief system of Secularism it is establishing and supporting a state religion.

The public arena has become the primary forum for the battle of ideas. If religious ideas are prohibited in the public arena but secular ideas are permitted, then religious expression and religious viewpoints are placed at a distinct disadvantage.

Please note that the first four examples given in this article refer to our Temples of Atheistic Secular Humanism ( AKA "public" schools.)

A religiously neutral education is **impossible**. When the government owns and runs schools it will establish the religious worldview of some and trash that of others. Government K-12 schools are a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination and should be abolished!

**nobody wants to be forced to keep Christmas if that’s not part of their religion.**

That’s the problem. The world thinks on one level, and the Word of God is on another level.

Christ came for ALL and waits patiently for ALL to come to him in the Nativity manager.

A Happy Second Day of Christmas to you!

My second grader came home with a worksheet on Ramadan last week. Uh ... wasn’t that in October and why is that being taught during the Christmas season?

Coleus, it is not all bad news.

I teach at a public school in NJ, and we had our annual sing along on our last day before Christmas break.

We did sing secular songs but also included in the sing-a-long was, Away In A Manger, Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and The First Noel.

Everytime I have been in WalMart, Albertsons, RiteAid, etc. I always wish anyone who helps me “Merry Christmas.”

I do the same thing when I'm home at Christmas. I also greet waiters, tollbooth workers and anyone else I interact with that way.

It’s amazing how many reply, “Merry Christmas.”

I have the same experience. And nobody has ever acted remotely offended.

The Iraqis all greeted us with "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Christmas" on Christmas morning. The Muslims here don't seem to have a problem acknowledging it, so why are the leftists back home so hung up about it?

I teach at a Public School in rural Virginia. Our Christmas concert (Yes it was called Christmas), had about 50% secular songs. One thing of note was that One of the students (re)wrote the lyrics for 12 days to personalize it for the school (3 guidance couselors, 4 administrators etc....) When they got to the 10 days of vacation they broke in to the Hallejuah choir from Handels Messiah.
