Why does Islam often seem strange?

“Islam may seem exotic or even extreme in the modern world. Perhaps this is because religion does not dominate everyday life in the West today, whereas Muslims have religion always uppermost in their minds, and make no division between secular and sacred. They believe that the Divine Law, the Shari’a, should be taken very seriously, which is why issues related to religion are still so important”

ah yes. the secular living should also be under Islamic law. Bring on the theocratic rule of the Islamic empire. The one that practices apartheid in the home nation and that has a standing death penalty for lowly kufir who’d dare enter the Islamic supremacist cities of Mecca and Medina.

Every person I know who has lived in an Islamic nation and talks of it openly says unequivocally that they are the most immoral and perverse nations they know of---far more so than the U.S.--- while maintaining a facade of religious propriety.

Arabs like to call Western women "whores" for the way they dress. It makes raping them justifiable in the eyes of their god.
