Come on now. He didn’t know anything about crooked politics in Chi Town. Like he didn’t know about Rev Wright..................for 20 years.

It’s over. Obama has called for Blago’s resignation, Fitz stopped the investigation before O could be hurt, it’s all wrapped up.

I will take December 15, 2009 for the office pool on his impeachment date.

Really? If a President who had sex with an intern and lied about it under oath still retained his office, I am not betting that a Democrat can be impeached for anything.

Right now, Obama has been able to sidestep this scandal. If he starts to become involved, the media will start to attack Fitzgerald.

Are you serious? The Ds control congress, the senate, and the media. I will bet that by December 15, 2009 speaking unkind words about Obama will be a hate crime.

Why stop a “crime in progress” before it actually occurs, if not to stop someone else from being drawn in?

I think he had to pull the trigger before Blago actually nominated someone (after proper quid pro quo had been negotiated).

To every article like this from AP, simply add the words, “We hope” to the beginning of the headline. That tells you a lot more than the actual article itself.

Right now go and ask the man on the street about Harry Truman. The few who know he was a President had no clue that he was Boss Pendergast’s toady after the liberal media made out how honest he was.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Pendergast

I will predict the same with Obama.

Illinois politics is not necessarily “bare knuckled” - it is more “open palm” (what’s in it for me) and knuckle-dragging.

Blagojevich questions censored on Transition site

President-elect Barack Obama’s Transition today launched “Open for Questions,” a Digg-style feature allowing citizens to submit questions, and to vote on one another’s questions, bringing favored inquiries to the top of the list.

It was suggested when it launched that the tool would bring uncomfortable questions to the fore, but the results so far are the opposite: Obama’s supporters appear to be using — and abusing — a tool allowing them to “flag” questions as “inappropriate” to remove all questions mentioning Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich from the main pages of Obama’s website.

The Blagojevich questions — many of them polite and reasonable — can be found only by searching words in them, like “Blagojevich,” which produces 35 questions missing from the main page of the site.

I wonder if Rs can find a way to more effectively oppose the nomination of Holder to be Attorney General now, under the cloud of the pay-for-play scandal? It may make it more feasible to get traction on the Marc Rich pardon scandal and Holder’s central role in that? Make it radioactive for any Democrats to be seen supporting the CORRUPT Clinton pardon for Marc Rich, etc.

Of course there are also the appalling pardons of terrorists, but right now the hot issue is Democrat corruption and Holder was in the middle of some of Bill Clinton’s worst corruption.
