The Farmers’ Union procured the sheep and designated the families needing them most. The purchase was facilitated by U.S. forces, said Capt. John Manion, a Civil Affairs officer with the Wasit Provincial Reconstruction Team.
“The goal was to give indigent people in Wasit a sheep to add meat to their diet,” he said. “It also happened to coincide with Eid al Adha, an important Islamic holiday.”
Each sheep provides enough meat for 15 people to enjoy several meals.
The operation proceeded safely with the help of security provided by the Iraqi Police and is scheduled to repeat at other locations in Wasit province.
LOL!

The week after that, - Mohammad pee'd behind that rock- "eid", etc. etc.
