This story is heartbreaking, and this man's positive attitude toward the pilot (who undoubtedly is suffering mightily over what happened) is simply amazing.

Having grown up next to an air force base and having seen crashes every few years, I was under the impression the pilot was obligated to stay with the plane til the end if he was over a populated area.

I went to an elementary school in Houston that was named for an Air Force pilot who rather than eject and risk the aircraft from crashing into the residential neighborhood, stayed with the plane and crashed it into an empty field.

Of course all crashes are different as to how an aircraft may or may not respond in a crash situation.

I was impressed with the Koreans who used personal firearms (including those "evil" looking black rifles)to protect their businesses during the Rodney King riots in L.A., and I'm equally impressed with this man's obvious strength and positive, forgiving attitude.

A true AMERICAN who knows the value of our brave military men and women, and that our military jets flying over produce the "Sound of Freedom".

God bless him and his family.

Democrats could learn something from this good man.

May God be with him.

We can only pray for this man. He is being so honorable towards the pilot and deserves all our prayers.

It’s just so very sad.

Dong Yun Yoon, who left Korea in 1989 and became a U.S. citizen, wondered aloud how he would persevere after losing his family. "Please tell me how to do it," he said, surrounded by his pastor, sister, brother and church members. "I don't know what to do."

I'm crying as I type this because I cannot comprehend the sorrow this man is experiencing. Stuff like this isn't supposed to happen to good people but it does and if one believes in God, one has to ask why him?

It just doesn't make sense............

I saw a short interview with Dong Yun Yoon. I suspect that the MSM interviewers stuck a camera and a microphone in his face in the hope that he would say how much he hated George Bush and the American military for what they had done to his family, but he refused to blame anyone. He expressed his concern for the pilot. He said that he knew that others had suffered worse losses. He showed decency and modesty and compassion through his overwhelming grief. Very impressive guy.

Reposting what I posted yesterday:

"The art of maintaining controlled flight is dependent on speed, altitude, and power. If he loses one of these three aspects, a pilot can usually trade one of the remainder for the other.

In this case, the unlucky pilot first ran out of power, then quickly the other two. Prayers for the survivors, both civilian and military."
