After yesterday’s certification by the 13 Parish Election Boards assured that Dr. John Fleming was elected, candidate Carmouche made a bewildering statement to KSLA News that the race was not over, that the Democratic National Committee wants him to “pursue the recount at all costs,” and that he owed it to the people who voted for him to recount. The DNC has not made any official statement on the results of yesterday’s certification.
