I must admit that I have slacked off a bit from when I was printing and saving everyday and apparently missed the point where they began officially counting for cycle 24; never was sure if the Jan 4th 08 spot #981 was declared a 24 spot or not but from there to 1009 I guess 17 spots were ruled 23 types.

Either way, there has been darned few lately and still deserve watching.

I believe SSN 1009 is the first group I’ve seen in the solar southern hemisphere. We are still a bit slow ramping up solar flux for this Cycle. Developing . . . . . . . .
