It’s not even her “home” (i.e. the Wasilla house seen in the Lauer and VanSustern interviews) it’s the ceremonial residence in Juneau.

I think it is more than ceremonial, but I may be wrong. I would imagine she “lives” there for extended periods when the reps. are in session, bills trying to get through, etc. But I would think most of her time is spent working from Wasilla to be with her family.
I have NO IDEA what the housing arrangements are of my Governor! I would imagine that governors with no strong ties to their community (kids in school, spouse’s business, etc) would probably use the Governor’s mansion, along with all of the perks, as their primary home?
