The Bible is inspired by God and thus infallible, or it is nothing.

But the Bible is written and intepreted by man.....very fallible and prone to mistakes.

Unless you want to argue that man can comprehend the greatness of God without error?

So, what you appear to be saying here is that God Almighty would allow the errors of a bunch of Iron Age scribes to throw His message off-kilter?

Does that really make sense?
