I agree completely. So Barak, get your buddy Al to stop denying that there is no such thing as the 'global warming' disaster caused by man that you and Al and Joe have been talking up.
Before 0bama sticks his entire leg down his throat, he ought to read a book by a physicist named Richard Muller titled ‘Physics for Future Presidents’ where Muller extensively debunks Al Gore’s climate hucksterism, calling most of Gore’s claims cherry picking, distortions and exaggerations.
...so the plan is to silence all of their critics? Is that the idea they came too?

To be fair, that is the AFP lede and not what Obama said. But, obviously, that is how what he said will be taken. And good for that. If he takes some hits now then he may have to back off upon taking office.

I am a Mechanical Engineer with an analytical mind. If the science conclusively proved it (no consensus peer pressure allowed), I could be persuaded to change my mind. But thuggery will not work.
This will be one of the first tests of the GOP. They still have the power to stop nuttiness like this, let’s see if they will.
If they are more effective as the opposition. But I think they will have to speak out as to why this is nuttiness to not come across as obstructionists.
