The funny thing about this is that the Donks would just love to give Fitzpatrick the Ken Starr treatment, and brand him as a politically motivated hack who is wasting the public’s money on a private vendetta, etc. Unfortunately for them, they just spent the previous three years praising him to the skies whyile he was investigating the Bush White House over the Valerie Plame affair.
If we have to trade one Scooter Libby to innoculate Fitzpatrick while he goes after Rezko/Blagojevich/Obama, it is a small price to pay.

I think Tony Rezko is in this somewhere and I just bet OB is about to mess his pants. What if Rezko gave up some tid bits to get a lighter sentence. This is just the tip of the iceberg and it will be the survival of the fitest, lots of people will be going down in this one.
