I never said it was, on its own. Illinois has been full of corrupt Democrats for decades, long before George Bush appeared on the scene.

However, the aisle-crossing, consensus-building weakness of the Republicans has undoubtedly EMBOLDENED them to a higher level of arrogance.

One of many examples is the fact that, Bush had the bully pulpit of the Presidency for eight years, and said nothing while the likes of Murtha and Durbin slandered our troops to the point of near treason.

Why worry about consequences when you are given a pass like that?

I will give you this...I agree The President and his administration, along with the Republicans on the Hill, should have been a lot tougher on those two creeps, they should have been a lot tougher on reid and pelosi, they should have been a lot tougher on the lying liberal media, etc., etc.

However, this thread was and is not the place to place that criticism. Period.

...and whether you like it or not, when you did it, it makes you look like just another deranged Bush-Hater, suffering from a severe overload of BHS...IMO.

Nah...more like a Union thug on a pickett line v police once you have the sheriff and the NLRB on your side during a Dem Pres/Dem Congress/Liberal court era!

...not that I disagree with your opinion at all! Just that the Chicago style ‘pizza pie’ would taste the same regardless of who’s in the Oval Office!
