Up yours, you pandering moron. Palin is about the only thing right with the GOP right now. The sooner we can purge these milquetoast, country club Republicans, the better.
Olympia Snowe is preferable to Baldacci. Specter was preferable to Hoeffel. Martinez was an exponentially better choice than Betty Castor.
Those are your choices in a statewide general election.
There's nothing wrong with running a conservative against Snowe, Collins, Coleman or Martinez in a primary, but the bottom line is that most of these folks are as conservative as they can be and still win a statewide office given the makeup of their electorate.
You are not going to get a Tom Coburn elected in Maine, Oregon or Minnesota. Our fellow citizens have forced the political pendulum leftward. It'll swing back after some amount of time passes. That's the way it has always worked.
