Asim Ijaz Khwaja asked around and it turns out that everything's cool. So there you go.

Well if the Asim-ator says it, it’s golden!

Maybe Obama will fund trips to mecca so they will be more tolerant.

As long as they drive a car made in Detroit. Hey, they have a few Muslims there, don’t they?
To: james500
So all any kaffir has to worry about is a Muslim who hasn’t made his hajj, yet. What a relief that is.

I think it was an interesting article and there might be some truth to what they are saying. It could really be an eye opening experience for someone to travel so far and meet so many different people from all over the world with so many different customs and viewpoints. A lot of the types that support terrorism are probably hearing the same hateful rhetoric all the time from their local religious leaders and to get away from all that for a while and worship with people who do not share those views might do them some good.

Yeah - just ask the Greeks. :)

Well, as a Christian I don’t think it’s possible. Muslims are basing their beliefs on a falsehood, and as such they’re doomed to fail.
John 14:6 says it pretty well.

You do realize that non-Muslims are forbidden to enter the city of Mecca because they’re filthy infidels? That kinda undercuts the whole bogus tolerance argument.

Years ago, I read a biography of Malcom X. If I remember correctly, he returned from the hajj and some time in Saudi Arabia studying a different brand of Islam than he had learned here in the U.S.
Didn't he return to America far less radical than before?
Wasn't he murdered partly as a result of his softening views?
(It's been a long, long time. I'm sure I have forgotten some of the details.)

Osama Bin Laden and Mohamed Atta are known to have made hajj, and I believe Zawahiri did as well.

We have apparently been wrong and should not be so quick to condemn what we do not understand.
Thank goodness for this wonderful tempering and taming effect of the hajj.
Why, just imagine how OBL, Atta, Zawahiri and others might have behaved were it not for these wonderful magic workings of the hajj?
