“I lived in Los Angeles when it snowed in the ‘40’s. Just about shut the city down. Just a dusting but everyone freeked out.”

That was 1949 and in the Silverlake/Los Feliz area we had 8 inches and it didn’t melt off until the day after.

It snowed in La Crescenta on December 6, 1978. Saw it with my own eyes.

It snowed in Bakersfield in 1998...and in 1961.

‘49 sounds about right. I was at St. Pauls Catholic grade school on Crenshaw and .....Pico I think. Maybe on block off of Crenshaw. Ghetto now.....too bad.
